I value opportunities to invest in communal spiritual formation. Whether it is a small group, a conference, a worship gathering, a training session, or a retreat, I collaborate with clients to make sure my content meets your community precisely where they are.
Sermons
I am an experienced preacher in my home churches and as a guest in various congregations. I am based in Southern California. Scroll down for some sample sermons.
Conferences
I keynote, teach, and do workshops. My content specialties include emerging adulthood, environmental justice, college ministry, and spiritual practices.
Retreats
I can assist your ministry as both a retreat speaker and/or planner. I can work with you at any stage of the process to facilitate a time of spiritual growth for your community.
Teaching
I offer customized trainings and classes on the Bible and theology broadly as well as specialty areas, including women in church leadership; practicing mutuality in marriage; the spiritual dimensions of parenting; Christian responses to the climate crisis; rethinking our conceptions of the afterlife; and navigating religious deconstruction and spiritual trauma in community.
Church Consultation
I will meet with church leaders and members of your church to help your community with discernment for the future, such as improvements in leadership structures, clarity of mission, and the health of church culture. I primarily use a method called appreciative inquiry, which focuses on strengths and assets, while still being honest about areas of improvement.
Sacraments
Transitionary ceremonies in our lives are sacred. I officiate weddings and funerals, customized to the individuals being celebrated and honored. I also do baptisms (full immersion) for people who are ready to recognize their eternal belovedness and belonging. I also perform baby blessings and home blessings (a ritual for blessing a new house or apartment).
